                  Hi

Thanks for the zmanim plugin – its really great!

                  I have a question –
after installing the plugin, the following characters
                  . */ ?>
appears at the top of all my pages and some of the admin interface too, breaking my template..

Might there be somewhere in the code there is a misplaced comment closing?

                  Thanks for any help!

                  Yehudah

                    Hello,
it looks like php comment ending is shown in ordinary html.
what is the address of the site, where I could take a look?

Your Shabat Keeper plugin sucks. You have lots of bugs and your PHP code does not meet the standards. GO learn PHP from scratch.

Nice way to speak with people you don’t know. Keep on going and people will like you.

You will be surprised, but I do think it is badly developed piece of code. But as well I have nothing to apologize for. So, keep your thoughts in your head and try not to share it with others, it would be better for you first of all.

You can review my open-source Android siddur program. AndDaaven is available on the Android Market and from the development website:

I’m not much of a developer, but I would like to see if I can import your code to a module in joomla so that I can display the plugin.I am assuming you have some handles specific for WP.Would you be able to share with me the basic code itself without those ‘handles’ and I would try to load it onto my site which sits on a joomla framework?
                          Thanks ahead

                            Shlomo,
take a look on the code. WP specific terms are used only for getting information from DB.
We could arrange some kind of online discussion on this.

As I understand it, joomla modules can run any kind of script/html codes .could you direct me to the naked codes to load ? (I understand it’s whole application)I’ll need hand holding, but maybe with the ehlp of their forum , I’ll be able to do it.

                              Dave,
                              verify two things:
                              1. you specified correct Lattitude/Longitude settings
                              2. Go to Settings -> Zmanim Widget configuration page and set correct date/time format for your site.

contact me in case it will not work for you.

i have updated to 1.9 and now the hide and show buttons are missing for http://www.themissourimoose.com. any ideas?

                                Dave,
You are using plugin custom-contact-forms. This plugin uses css directive .hide, which hides also buttons in Zmanim widget. Try to disable it and you will see that buttons will appear.
Actually, the css directive as it is used in custom-contact-forms is not correct behavior.

is it possible to only show current date and holidays in plug in – Not hide then show but only show currentdate and holidays.

                                Thank you
                                Dave

Dave, in this version, it is not possible. But I have in TODO list a task to add function, which would allow you to add proper sections to the list and nothing more.

I have recently published ZmanMinder for the Android. It’s a widget that helps ensures you’ll never again miss Mincha. Please check it out and let me know what you think.
